Haven't tried the game yet - I have heard good and bad things about it. I tried to buy it at Best Buy this weekend but, the boneheads were out of it and they had no fucking clue as to how to make out a rain check. To top it off - wanted to bump memory up on a machine - they (computer guys) said it needs pc100 - go to computers ask for pc100 - sorry don't have that but, this pc133 will work - guess what I DIDN'T - customer no service is alive and well at Best Buy. Went to Staples and got PNY PC100 for $20.00 cheaper. HMPH!!!

Hmmm... Usually the PC133 will slow down and is backward compatible at 100 Mhz. Some motherboards are real finicky as to the brand of Ram you install. Sometimes if you already have lets say Samsung Ram and you add more ram from a different chip manufacturer like NEC then the chance of the memory not working together is very High... even though they might be the same speed and the same chip config. Usually Custom mainboards are less finickey with Ram vs. the pre-built computers like HP, Dell, Sony, NEC, and Compaq (HP). This is one of the reasons Custom Systems are Far Superior.

You can all add my pc to the shit list if you want. BUt getting back on topic, havent palyed Nam yet. Heard goods and bads about it. I plan to try it out when i get my self that RAM im looking for. I guess it would be cool to play on both games with the HC gang.  |
